Haunted Aquarium

One of the most exciting attractions found right here in La Jolla is the Birch Aquarium at Scripps Institution of Oceanography. This incredible aquarium has over 60 different marine habitats for you to see up in person and sits high up on a bluff giving sweeping ocean views from outside. This Halloween season the aquarium will be hosting their Haunted Aquarium event perfect for everyone in the family. Entry into the event is included with all entry tickets and gets you access to a “kelp” maze, costume showcase, live music, and treat bags for the kids to enjoy. Show up in your favorite ocean themed costume and have fun with all the families in attendance! Haunted Aquarium will be taking place from Friday October 22nd through Sunday October 24th.

Halloween Mutt Run

You can earn your treats for Halloween this year by first running in the 8th Annual Halloween Mutt Run. This annual 1K and 5K race helps rescue dogs in need. This year’s event will be taking place on October 30th at 8:30 AM where runners are encouraged to show up in their favorite costumes. Additional activities include a dog costume contest, prizes, raffle baskets, and a beer garden. Don’t miss out on this popular race taking place at Road Runner Sports.

Relax at La Jolla Cove
