If paying by check, please mail your check to the above address, payable to La Jolla Vacation Rentals Ca. Your check must be received within 5 days in order to hold your reservation. If you wish to pay by credit card, please check the option below. If reserving 14 days or less from date of check-in, personal checks will not be accepted as a form of payment.


Reservation requires payment of half of the “Total Rent” + Security Deposit Insurance if the reservation is made 15 or more days prior to your check-in.

*If you are reserving 14 days or less from your check-in date then you will need to provide the entire balance to hold the property.

*The second half of the total rent, lodging taxes, and cleaning fees are due 14 days prior to check in.


Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties.


Should the Guest wish to cancel, notice of cancellation must be in writing or via e-mail and received by LJVR 90 days prior to check in date. If cancellation notice is received more than 90 days in advance of arrival date, LJVR will refund all of the reservation deposit minus 5% processing fee. If cancellation notice is received less than 90 days prior to the arrival date and if  Property is rented at the same rate to another party, LJVR will refund all of Guest’s deposit. If the Property is not re-rented, LJVR will retain the entire reservation deposit. Please know that LJVR will make every reasonable effort to re-rent.

LJVR  reserves the right to cancel this agreement if any unforseen circumstances arise or the Property becomes temporarily inhabitable , but agrees to fully refund any monies paid in advance by Guest or will make every effort to relocate Guest to a similar property at the same rate or if the rate is higher will discount that rate.


Please be advised: Guest if you wish to bring a pet with you during your stay we will require an additional $25/Night PET FEE for pets, this nightly fee caps out at $250.


Please be advised that all our properties are Non-Smoking properties. You are welcome to smoke in the outside areas away from the building.

The Property may not have all the items Guest is accustomed to having. If there is a special type of item Guest is accustomed to using, such as a special type of cooking utensil, soap, etc. please bring from home. Please especially avoid accidentally packing towels or hangers.


Under no circumstances shall  be responsible for any loss, expense, damages, claims or injury direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise whatsoever, howsoever caused or incurred whether arising in contract or otherwise in law or equity as a result of rendering of the services or accommodations as described or substituted and including, without restricting the generality of the foregoing as a result of any delay(s), substitution(s), rescheduling(s) or change(s) in the provision of services or land accommodations by LJVR or by reason of military actions, revolution or acts of God, government agencies, or unforeseen circumstances or events, by any agents, owners, employees, subcontractors, servants or services as substituted; LJVR, at all times will act in good faith and use its best efforts to substitute with accommodations or services of a type as comparable as possible to those contracted. LJVR will not be liable under any circumstances, including substitutions, to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services. Some activities in which guests engage are especially dangerous and include scuba diving, snorkeling, deep-sea fishing, boating, golfing, swimming, boogie boarding, surfing, hiking, biking and mountain climbing. This list is not all-inclusive, but indicates some of the hazards of vacationing in San Diego. Guests may also encounter the following risks: slippery floors and stairs, especially when wet, lanais with spaces between rails (dangerous for little children), precipitous drop-offs on ocean floor, unfenced pools, faulty electrical or plumbing systems, gas BBQ grills, clean/clear sliding glass doors, and dangerous stairs or pathways, Therefore, each guest agrees that he/she is voluntarily participating in any and all activities, risks, and use of the accommodations, and hereby assumes all risk of injury, illness, damage or loss to person and property that might result, including, without limitation, any loss or theft of personal property. By booking this Property, you acknowledge that in all events and circumstances, LJVR, its officers and employees shall not be liable.  LJVR reserves the right to cancel or rescind any rental agreement if it is found that the Guests are conducting unlawful activities, not abiding by the Home Owners Association House Rules, disturbing others by playing loud music, percussion, audio or instruments, or cause any loud or offensive noises, leaving a dog to bark at the property unattended,  have made any misrepresentations about the nature or size of the group or use of the group or the use of the property or any other misrepresentations or any other way in breach of the rental agreement.


The undersigned Guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors and administrators, fully releases and discharges LJVR and the Owner of the property from any and all claims, demands and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to Guest, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold LJVR and Owner free and harmless of any claim or suit arising there from.  Neither does LJVR accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, and electricity, cable and wifi connection, outside construction noises, or plumbing. Nor will accept liability for any loss or damage caused by weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond LJVR control.

Neither does LJVR accept liability for any inconvenience arising from any temporary defects or stoppage of use of swimming pool and Jacuzzi due to any kind of breakdown with equipment.


This Vacation Rental Damage plan covers unintentional damages to the rental unit interior that occur during your stay, provided they are disclosed to management prior to check-out. The policy will pay a maximum benefit of $3,000. Any damages that exceed $3,000 will be charged to the credit card on file. If you damage the real or personal property assigned to your rental accommodation during the trip, the Insurer will reimburse the lesser of the cost of repairs or the Actual Cash Value of the property, up to $3,000.  Certain terms and conditions apply.  Full details of the Vacation Rental Damage coverage are contained in the Description of Coverage or Insurance Policy ( ).  The Vacation Rental Damage can be purchased up to, and including at, check-in. By submitting payment for this plan, you authorize and request CSA Travel Protection and Insurance Services to pay directly La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA. any amount payable under the terms and conditions of the Vacation Rental Damage.  Please contact La Jolla Vacation Rentals CA. directly if you do not wish to participate in this plan or assignment.


Guests who do not sign up for the Security Deposit Protection Program are required to make a Security Deposit of $3000  to protect against any damages to and/or loss of items from the Property and to assure payment of items charged to the Guest Account. The deposit will be held in La Jolla Vacation Rentals Client Trust Account or the booking agents account and will be returned, minus deductions, not later than 45 calendar days after the termination of the agreement. We must give you a written statement at that time explaining any deductions. Deductions can be made for the following reasons: to repair or replace anything that is damaged or missing; to pay any and all amounts due; to replace all keys; additional cleaning expense or to clean excessive dirt (i.e. stained carpets, furniture, walls, appliances, etc.) and put the unit, and the things in it, in the condition when you moved in. If your deposit is not enough to cover all the damages and costs, you must pay the extra amount, and you authorize us to charge the credit card provided.


The undersigned Guest, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, assignors, executors, and administrators, fully releases and discharges LJVR  from any and all claims, demands, and causes of action by reason of any injury or whatever nature which has or have occurred, or may occur to the undersigned, or any of his/her guests as a result of, or in connection with the occupancy of the premises and agrees to hold LJVR free and harmless of any claim or suit arising therefrom. In any action concerning the rights, duties or liabilities of the parties to this agreement, their principals, agents, successors or assignees the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney fees and costs.

IT IS FURTHER MUTUALLY AGREED UPON between the parties as follows:

  1. Dishonored Checks. A charge of $25 shall be imposed for each dishonored check made by Guest to LJVR.   After Guest has tendered a check which is dishonored, Guest hereby agrees to pay all remaining payments under this Agreement by certified funds. Any payments tendered to LJVR thereafter, which are not in the form of certified funds, shall be treated as if Guest failed to make said payment until certified funds are received.
  2. Above Guest is an adult over the age of 25 and WILL BE an occupant of the unit during the entire reserved period.
  3. Guests shall not violate any city ordinance or state law in or about said premises.   (Noise ordinances are strictly enforced in San Diego City Residential areas. Noise after 9:00 PM may necessitate law enforcement intervention and immediate removal from the property.)
  4. Guest agrees to notify the Manager IMMEDIATELY if any maintenance problem occurs.
  5. Smoking is allowed outside only.
  6. No Kegs allowed.
  7. No RVs or Campers allowed on the premises.
  8. Guest/LJVR agrees that no prior notice is required for LJVR or representative of LJVR to enter the property to make necessary repairs/inspection. However, LJVR will make every effort to notify Guest prior to entering if LJVR plans to enter the property.
  9. Guest shall not assign responsibility nor sublet or guests. Guest intends to occupy the property.
  10. Guest agrees to not accept any collect calls or make any toll calls from the telephone provided. Guest agrees to reimburse LJVR for additional costs incurred to the telephone service during the time they rent the property.
  11. Guest agrees to pay for any Movies On Demand the Guest purchases.
  12. There are no parties allowed on the Premises. If Guest has a party during their stay without prior written consent from LJVR is considered a breach of this Agreement and will result in immediate eviction from Premises and loss of any days left on Guest’s booking with no refunds owed to Guest.
